I enjoyed the occasional P-51 & Spitfire upstaging the F-22 also. Wherever that was seems a spiffy place to be. There was also a twin engine bomber of WWII vintage I could not identify taxiing at one point too.

It must not have been that bad, Joe...All of them have been repaired and flown out...No losses......Ben"All of the damage to them was minor ... They were repaired and flown out."

I'd better not go into any details of what I know about repaired fighter jets...Some of the F-4 Phantom pilots I was associated with may read these forums...Let's just say that there is no such thing as a fighter jet which has not undergone some repairs prior to its second and all subsequent departures...And some of those repairs, in the interest of completing a mission, may have deviated to some degree from the maintenance manual...That is all......Ben
