I've been saying for years that if increasing CO2 is causing increasing global temperatures shouldn't the increase in CO2 predate the increase in Temps rather than the other way around? The key points of a hypothesis should be proven with the facts rather than disproven, don't you think?

Finally this is a BBC (of all things) program that confirms those points graphically and with authority.

The only thing I know about this is that it is not new in scientific circles. I wrote a paper on chlorofluorocarbons in 1974 and the thinking was back then that if something wasn't done it would become a problem in the next century.

I also remember that some of the debunkers back then were poo-pooing it because they said the amount of co2 released by an average volcanic eruption dwarfed the contribution by man.
