UK Prime Minister May said it was "highly likely" Russia was responsible for the Salisbury attack.

The Foreign Office summoned Russia's ambassador to provide an explanation.

PM May said if there is no "credible response" by the end of Tuesday, the UK would conclude there has been an "unlawful use of force" by Moscow.

The chemical used in the attack, the PM said, has been identified as one of a group of nerve agents known as Novichok.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Monday slammed Russia over an alleged nerve agent attack in Britain — going further than the White House in directly calling out the Kremlin as “an irresponsible force of instability in the world.”

Tillerson said the United States will stand “in solidarity” with the United Kingdom and would coordinate its response to the attack. At least two people, former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, have been left extremely sick due to the alleged nerve agent.

    NATO Article 5 says :
The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
Looks like the UK is brave enough to stand up to Russia.

Maybe they should grow a pair for radical islamists too. Remember Putin has already teamed up with them in Syria.

I thought I heard on the radio where several innocent bystanders got poisoned too.

Wow! Secretary of State Tillerson should have checked with the President before he agreed with PM May that the US would support our ally, the UK, in a response to Russia, the President's ally.

I guess we are no longer going to abide by the NATO treaty?

It is so apparent the loyalties of our President and by default our nation in this New World Order.

Only because he knows we're on his side, technically speaking.

    That was yesterday.

Firing Tillerson for expressing support for NATO's Article 5 and the President allying the US with Russia will cause the UK and the rest of the NATO treaty signatory nations to consider where they stand against a Russia Alliance that includes America, China, and Russia allied against the rest of the world.

Yes. Illegal Immigrants are not allowed to vote in any national election.

Russians are allowed to interfere in our national elections.

I am surprised any American would try to justify a foreign nation attacking America.

That is horsechit and you know it. Has nothing at all to do with Russia, just more dumb BS the libs throw out.

He disagree with Trump on the Paris deal. He disagreed with Trump on the Iran deal. He did not like the tariff deal. There were a few more smaller things but it had absolutely nothing to do with Russia. You are throwing lies out again.

    Oh Sure

Tillerson disagrees with Trump on Paris deal and is not fired.

Tillerson disagrees with Trump on Iran and is not fired.

Tillerson disagrees with Trump on Tariffs and is not fired.

Tillerson even calls Trump a F-ing moron and is not fired.

Tillerson disagrees with Putin and in less than 24 hours is fired.

One must never criticize your Boss's Boss.

More than you ever wanted to know about nerve agents —

    http://www.atimes.com/dissecting-dus...sed-uk-attack/

A call for radical sanctions against the Russians should go out in keeping with this radical and in-our-face attack. We need to be in their face as well. Kicking out 28 Russian embassy spies and personnel from GB is not near enough to get Putin’s attention. Same with jointly signed letters. We should also ramp up our sale of natural gas to Europe to both help them remove themselves from dependency on Russian gas and stick a knife in Putin economically. Remember, “Russia is a filling station masquerading as a nation.” — John McCain Hit them where it hurts most.
