The one place that a rear camera would be a big advantage to me is when backing into the barn--especially on a sunny day. The inside of the barn in my mirrors is no more than a giant black hole

Oh heck yea I didn't think of that, but now that you mention it that reminds me of a few tough backing up jobs. Worst of the worst. I've never had anything with a camera.

I love not having a blind spot behind my camper. the camera is always on when the headlights are on and it has excellent night vision for backing into tight spaces too

it may just be the camera angle but, although you may have a clear view to the rear, it looks as if you have blocked 30% of your front view.

My head is near the top of the windshield. I'm not a dwarf looking through the steering wheel. camera was at dash level

I always want to know what's going on behind me, a habit from riding a bike I guess. It allows me to know the escape route so to speak and if there is somebody trying to push me out of the way, again, so to speak.

An excellent point, my friend. Chronic motorcyclists do seem to get very good at knowing what's around them on the road at all times. It's a necessity.
