I'm OK with dropping it on Missouri. Got a speeding ticket there. It was dismissed but still...

Seems very strange----assuming it is a spy mission---what will they see that they don't already see with their satellites?

I'm sure they are in the process of putting recovery resources in place in the area they expect to kill it.

This is interesting, I wonder if they already shot it down and are not telling us?

Woman shares video of an 'explosion' in the sky above Montana.

    and

    Sheriff believes video is legitimate.

Of further interest, this is in Yellowstone County. Why does everything these days somehow link to Yellowstone?

Live on TV now. Balloon shot down and on its way to the ocean.

    [on edit]

I'm now wondering if they let it fly until it reached water in hopes of less damage to the payload when it makes impact.

Still going to be a hard impact.. the ocean isn’t that forgiving at the speed that it will be traveling..

Despite the finger pointing and blame being assigned.. I’ll believe that there was a chit load of subject matter experts brainstorming options on a multi day “zoom” .. not Biden making a decision in a vacuum..

Oh, it will probably bust all to hell, but to a lesser degree than hitting the ground.
