    I don't get it.

I almost excuse trump's disregard for his appropriate role in "managing" the pandemic---why would I expect anything else? His public ignoring of any societal responsibility obviously is far beyond his capacity to grasp.

I get that---trump is trump---what I don't get is the seemingly twisted "logic" of the trump cult in refusing to wear a mask in public---how is it these people are too thick to understand they have no right to endanger my rights---and everyone else's rights. Has their world come down to such a small speck that the simple act of wearing a mask, out of respect for your neighbor, takes on this level of importance?

They need to grow up. I am normally very tolerant---but this is flat ignorant.

You'd think, if for no other reason, they would wear a mask to protect their self-centered selves!

I can't imagine there is any thought process at all.

The largest county in Alabama just imposed an order to wear a mask EVERYWHERE. Two exceptions are if you are outside and not within 6 feet of anyone and children under 2.

The county to the south of mine which encompasses Houston did the same thing...I only wear one where the business I'm visiting demands it, such as one of my doctors...I went to the bank, grocery store, laundry and western wear store today with no mask...If I was sick or felt symptomatic, I would wear one out of concern for others...Otherwise I don't bother with it...If I'm not sick from contact with all the precious metal I encounter, why should I worry?......Ben

Well to be fair there's been too many "studies that show it's effective or not. The non believers think this will not hurt them or those that do wear them can't make up their mind for themselves.

While I can see both arguments I would think wearing is more important.

I assumed you are talking about the protestors/rioters, but then I realized that (a) they were protesting against Trump in part, and (b) there is zero statistical showing that their lax distancing and masking produced no discernible rise in infections, so I’m still left wondering about the perceived connection between the “Trump Cult” and unmaskism.

I am a sturdy member of the Trump Cult and wear a mask despite the recommendation of the World Health Organization, or maybe because whatever they say is most likely wrong, and most everyone I know wears the obnoxious things too even though they are Trump supporters also for the most part. I question the premise that Trump supporters defy calls to wear masks. Maybe Pennsylvania is different from my experience.

No masks on the golf course. On anyone. They even relaxed the rules so 2 people can be in the same cart.

I wear mine in the grocery store, and the feed store if there a lot of Navajos in there. Just another reminder of my racist nature. The real problem will be the Zonies. Our businesses depend on their summer vacations. It's good and bad news there are lots of them this year.

I'm trying to avoid people without missing life. Not always easy.

Can't get away with that around here. They are mandated in public places. They are closing down a lot of the Scottsdale night life hot spots because they refuse to follow CDC guidelines and there liquor licenses will be revoked if they commit one more violation. I think it's a good idea. The kids that socialize in them do not care. they spread it and take it home to their families. The average age of new cases is dropping quickly...

I'm heading to Durango next week. I plan to skip my usual stops in Gallup and Ship Rock this time. It's nice the new truck has a 36 gallon gas tank. I can make the run without needing Gas. Only need to stop to let the bitches pee

Made that haul many, many times and still do. K-town is exactly 2 1/2 hours from the front door, so thats our pit stop when I have the wifey. I would probably go thru Gallup if heading to Durango. They are starting to slow things down a little on the Rez. Fingers crossed for the Native Americans - it s been especially hard on them.

I don't know for sure how big my tank is in the f-350, but it says 730 miles to empty which is plenty

The 4th should be a hoot. Everyone from AZ heading up here to get out of the heat after being locked up; every ice machine, liquor store, and dispensary will be sold out. This should be good.

You can't be serious Joe. Tell me you didn't watch any of the Tulsa rally---and yes Pa is different---we wear masks---and that just might be part of the reason Texas is going in the bucket again.

Here is just one of any number of photos clearly demonstration what is going on---you need to get away from your anointed sources--they lie as much as trump.

I agree, the bars and nightlife hot spots need to be closed because the kids are too lackadaisical, maybe I should just say stupid, to be allowed in them. The Texas governor closed them down again today. If he wasn't too worried about politics they would not have been open to begin with. I'm fed up with him and the idiotic lieutenant governor who said older folks will gladly die to reopen the economy. Neither will receive my vote the next time they run.
