I don't understand dressage, but I can assure you there is a lot more to it technically and training wise that meets the eye.

Yeah, before I encountered it here (thanks to Eric). Even then, I couldn't pronounce it right (dress-age v dress-awge).
Turns out, we have a friend in California who does it - and who filled me in on the sport.
