    Dem Senator & Wife Indicted/Charged

    Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, wife charged with bribery:

    "Sen. Menendez, a Democrat, is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He was previously indicted in another federal bribery case where he escaped conviction.

    The indictment alleges that Bob Menendez promised and sought to disrupt a federal criminal prosecution of Daibes in exchange for the money and other items of value. Those efforts by Menendez allegedly included recommending to President Joe Biden that he nominate a candidate for U.S. Attorney for New Jersey “who Menendez believed could be influenced by Menendez with respect to Daibes’s case,” the indictment charges."

    Basically, the prior jury was hung (AKA deadlocked) which can lead to a retrial. I'm betting his lawyers will succeed in getting the judge (in the new case) to muzzle talk of his prior trial. Further, they may try to separate Hubby's case from Wifey's.

    The news this morning sounds like a rush to the exits by his "democratic peers"

    Little georgie santos will likely give him a call to see if he can get some pointers

    Apparently some of his "friends" didn't think very highly of him----they only gave him a "C" Class MB
