I'm thinking that's a 6-door Excursion - first one I've seen.

My PSD Excursion was so big that it barely fit in my 2-car garage. But, the performance in the snow/ice was incredible. It had the weight and 4x4 capability I wanted. It's another one of my vehicles I should have kept.

that is a tread separation. it can be one of 3 things. Low air pressure causing and overheated tire, Large sharp impact (major Pothole , Mfg Defect. I have had both of the last two and both occurred at freeway speed with a camper in the bed. If the driver had taken EVOC and paid attention he should have been able to drive out of that and not crashed.
