My 2000 Ford and my 2003 Dodge both had the plug-in thingies that gave a little more power and a small amount of smoke, but not what I would call notable...I liked them for the 2 or 3 extra mpg's I got...My current mighty 2009 Dodge/Cummins is bone stock, with everything the factory sent it out with except a muffler...Zero smoke, but I could use some extra fuel economy......Ben

Took off the muffler on my Diesel Jeep 'cause other owners said it wasn't needed - they were right.
