Quick research shows them having record highs as well as record lows. It says something an airline can lose billions of dollars a year and remain solvent.
I remember the little things - like the time Wifey and I were in line at a Hong Kong airport when our flight was delayed. Extra Cathay Pacific staff were called in and they served us tea and hors d'oeuvres to make up for it. They acted like the sky was falling - for something that barely changed our schedule.
