"Mine" doubled as a farm truck. It only had three windows, not five. Instead of adornment with chrome it was richly adorned by mud and cow chit. No white walls, no fancy bed rails, but it did have a big dent in the back of the left rear fender.
I was offered multiple opportunities to learn humility---by driving it to my private prep school when it was pushing 10 years of barn yard duty. No---it didn't get better with age
Still, I could disconnect the muffler (and reconnect before going home) in but a few seconds with a piece of 2x4 in the bed
It's diminutive 6 cylinder sounded more like a tractor than a hot rod--- but that was life
