How Looters Are Handled In Ukraine

    I like it!

Looters are being shrink-wrapped to utility poles in Ukraine, sometimes with their pants pulled down to publicly shame them.

"There have actually been several reports of looters being punished in a similar fashion as defiant Ukrainians refuse to let their country unravel amid the chaos caused by Vladimir Putin's troops."
    - Daily Star

It does have a feeling of Justice to it. I can only assume it's been bad enough with looters to warrant such action - though taking matters into one's own hands would not be legal here. But, they're living there under conditions we are surely not under.

My cousin has electricity 2 hours in the morning, and two in the afternoon, with a priority on the school and hospital. They cook over a camp stove. They ration food. Everyone is cold and it is dark so long, the kids are put into bed very early for warmth. There is no shelling in their area but Putin is trying to break their will.

We got pictures of the kids first day at school. They are trying so hard to keep everything together and survive. So when looters try to steal what little is left, I can imagine their reaction. Not pretty, but effective.

Legal be damned. This is survival.

I could care less about legal. The people of Ukraine have it bad enough without looters. If they catch a looter in the act, shoot 'em on the spot.
