    Blacksmithing Videos

These videos are probably not what came to mind when you read the title, but they are on a much grander scale utilizing power hammers. I always find metal working to be very interesting.

I can't go there---I have things that I need to do and that is quicksand for me

I did a job some years ago at the Ford Cleveland engine plant. They begin by making the "parts"---including all the castings----I had a difficult time keeping my focus on the job at hand.

Many years ago (like 50+) I was a town engineer. They had a large manufacturing company there who had a steam powered forging hammer. I could hear that operating anywhere in town. I always wanted to see it but alas never did.

Man, it's going to take me some time to get through all those vids. I'm looking forward to it.
