I surely do hope that Biden wises up and puts pressure on Mayorkas to resign. The guy is in over his head and the Republicans are about to do a much-deserved investigation of his incompetence. Biden can short-circuit that (which would be good for Biden) by getting Mayorkas to resign sometime in January (good for the country).
What a mess the border is. If nothing else, cleaning house might improve morale at the Border Patrol, which right now is pretty low, from what I've read.
