The last I read he had been "refocused" to another "project"----Lord knows there is enough to go around. As for getting paid---his payment was not coming from trump it was being covered by one of his cult funded PACs. I have no idea if they did in fact make the payment.
One would think, with all of trump's legal problems over the years that he would make an effort to groom a stable of capable lawyers----but no----instead he stiffs them----just like he stiffs everyone else
