RIPLouise Fletcher, the imposing, steely-eyed actress who won an Academy Award for her role as the tyrannical Nurse Ratched in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” died on Friday at her home in the town of Montdurausse, in Southern France. She was 88.

She made Coocoos nest the Oscar sweep that it was.. she brought life to a roll that others were afraid to play (too hateful, would ruin actors career) .. and she took 11 off to be a mom! RIP ..

Interesting. Saw the thread title and couldn't resist. She won major kudos for her acting ability. I liked her.
