    Political Funding Reform

We seriously need reform in the political funding arena. Far too many races are decided by an influx of "foreign" money. By "foreign", I mean money donated by people who are not eligible to vote in the races they are contributing to. People like George Soros who is buying officials nationwide with his unlimited funds.

I believe that local elections should be funded by local funds from people eligible to vote in that election, there should be no outside contributions. All funding for state-wide elections should come from within the state from persons qualified to vote and of course, national elections should be the same.

To take it one step further, we need a Constitutional amendment to override the SCOTUS ruling making corporations "persons" and allowing them to make political contributions.

Let's level the playing field and make our officials accountable to the voters in their districts, not to some outside sugar daddy.

We have about the same chance of that happening as getting the current tribe to vote in term limits----they hold all the cards

Sadly, you are correct on both counts.

    A sad, but perfect, assessment.
