As I was just sitting here prepping asparagus for dinner, my mind wandered----this is spargel (white gold) season in Germany. I seldom missed spargel season
500 grams, steamed with butter or hollandaise sauce and a side of boiled potatoes was all I needed---unless I wanted 1 kg
