    I like the C's. My 1957 A-T2 shares many parts with them.

    Driving it reminds me of driving old Spitfires and MGs. You really have to work to keep it "on the pipe." As long as I keep revs above 3,000 she's responsive. Most owners run without a spare in the frunk to keep the weight down. Not me, I have a full-sized spare behind the seats.

    Had one just like that, same color and everything.

    It was in 1980, I already had a 78 911SC but this one was so cheap I had to buy it.

    Never really came to grips with it so I sold it a year or two later.

    Yeah, it's been fascinating to watch the 356 grow into the modern 911. They've significantly improved the horsepower/torque along the way. Yet, they've maintained the same rear-end slope through the years.

    The one I've got is from Alabama. A dealer there sold it to me and shipped it as well.
