    No criminal charges for Trump

    From what I saw yesterday, I don't think Trump is going to face charges for January 6.

    The committee never made the case that Trump did not believe what he was peddling, even though no reasonable person could have believed it after being told over and over again that there was no basis for all this fraud claim nonsense. They also didn't make the case that he was directly inciting violence. So that makes him morally and politically responsible for January 6, but not legally responsible.

    Kind of what Asa Hutchinson said over the weekend. Hmm, Asa Hutchinson...

    IMHO, that door remains open, at least a crack.

    Yesterday's focus was not primarily Jan 6th.
