Generational change is driving my predictions. Right now, people are making a calculation that the freedom we enjoy is worth the cost of the mass shootings we witness. That will change. And as people tire of religion being injected into public discourse, they will demand a more secular society. We are moving to a post-religious country, slowly but surely.

Prediction:

Long before Kevin's 40 years are in our past, civilization as we know it will be over. Putin will have popped off his nukes and the rest of the nuclear club members will have responded in-kind. Nothing that concerns us today will matter as the remains of mankind struggle to survive.
