I gots me another question for y'all.
If a pregnant woman is shot and killed and the unborn fetus [ ie. the group of cells ] then becomes non viable you will be charged with murder AND infanticide . So the group of cells is in that instance considered a person.
Why , if that is the case is not abortion considered infanticide and charged as a murder ?.
Individual rights are protected only as long as they don't conflict with the desires of the state .

Because of Roe.
All the fetal homicide laws that I am aware of include an exception for a woman choosing a legal abortion. They had to, since a state law cannot deny someone a Constitutional right. If Roe goes, I expect you will see these laws modified to remove that exception.
