The article I'm linking is poorly written and probably a bit over the top, but it points out the history and anti-gun position of Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Pennsylvania candidate for the U.S. Senate to replace the retiring Pat Toomey. Oz is a gun grabber and the citizens of Pennsylvania need to know this before the primary election.

That is not the worst thing about this quack, he has to move to Pa first.
I want to think he has too much luggage and hasn't a chance, but I thought that about trump and you see how that turned out

I saw the issues about Dr. Oz on the web. The article Mike linked indicates Oz has substantial personal monies. Other than his new-found political aspirations, it's the first I've heard of him.

Oz is obviously very intelligent. He has degrees from some of the most prestigious universities in this country including Harvard and Columbia. He is a Muslim. He at times to me has seems to be like a doctor Phil wanna be, but he undoubtedly has made millions of dollars in the media sometimes pushing the limits to medical remedies that are somewhat questionable . He has always been a Republican. I wouldn’t write him off as a fool. I did not know about his anti-firearm stance I’ll have to look at that some more tomorrow I am approaching bedtime.

10 years ago or so my wife mail-ordered from the ‘net some product Dr. Oz was hawking. I don’t even remember what it was. Some cream or pill promising miraculous health benefits. Anyway, she fell for it and ordered the stuff. When we inevitably found it was worthless, I tried to shut it off and cancel the flow of the crap. They had my credit card # and would not cancel...kept sending the stuff and charging my card. I ultimately had to fight the credit card company to credit back some of the charges and block the creep from charging me. I don’t think I ever got the excess charges refunded. This fraudster is surely no one I want to see as a senator.

If I had any interest in piling on the remains of the republican party I would cheer this creep on---but PA already has one dud Senator and the last thing we need is another. Obviously, he has a lot of money behind him because he is already flooding the TV with ads----despite the fact that he has no announced opponent. Nader filled out his highest & best use costing algore his win in 2000 for which we can all remain grateful.
Sanders most likely cost HerSelf the election in 2016 for which he should have a statue erected that later mobs of Lefties can desecrate.

According to oz he has been "cancelled" by the Philadelphia Inquire since they will not use his "Dr" title---which happens to be a policy of the paper for all candidates.
This quack needs to be cancelled---before he moves to PA

There're simply too many weird politicians of the Left and the Right for me to go one-sided. Seriously, I cannot think of who I would vote for at this point. In the last 2 elections, I've voted for the least destructive politician. And, I still feel dirty about it.

Virginia had a first time politician win the nomination for governor.. retired hedge fund honcho.. rich enough to fund his own campaign..
He started on the extreme edges of his party but his poll numbers were very bad.. so he moderated, and the polls went up.. so he moderated more, and polls rose more.. then his high $$$ PR firm snagged an out of context quote by his opponent .. he won by less than 1%….
Be careful Pennsylvania.. it could happen to you..
Question: what will the “purple middle” that believed the moderate swing have to say when agenda moves back to extreme edge?
The out of context quote .. opponent stated that school boards are told (via election) what parents want and school boards then tell schools what to teach, parents don’t tell schools what to teach.. the parents don’t tell schools what to teach ws used, and sold..
