Somebody help me out here---please
The couple who have been accused of trying to sell classified information, to as yet an unidentified foreign country, have been charged in WV with communication of restricted data and conspiracy to communicate restricted data.
The husband works for the Navy as a nuclear propulsion expert and his wife is a teacher with a Ph.D., they have two children. The guidelines (I read them) for representation by a public defender in WV is an income less than 25% above the poverty line, with a family of 4 that is $36,800 in family income. I have a very difficult time thinking that these two make less than that---so how is that they get a free bus ticket?
If guilty, may they get the level of defense they paid for
