Texas approve open carry without a permit

Ahhh... I get it, the difference between Constitutional Carry and Open Carry. Interesting.

When I carried on the job our departmental policy was simple - if someone can see your weapon, they must see the badge. So, like most of my cohorts, I carried on my hip with the badge placed on the belt in front of it. The only time I was deployed in full garb was for 3 months of Olympic duty.
