    Site Closed for Repairs.

This site is closed for new posts and replies due to an unknown issue causing multiple errors in searching and posting. It may require a complete reinstall to resolve the issue and any new posts since the last backup will be lost if a database restoration is required. Therefore, I am closing the site to new posts until such time as I can find and repair the problem. Thanks for your understanding.

I think I have finally fixed the site. I see there are some image problems, but I know why and how to fix them.

Sorry for all of the downtime.

I think it was some sort of issue with Windows 10 that prevented me from fixing it. I decided to use my Windows 7 box that I used to re-install the site after we were hacked and it worked flawlessly.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get Windows 11. Till then, my music recording/transfer programs are down.

But, the site is up - which is definitely a highlight.

Windows 11 isn't even available yet. I can't imagine how not having it is affecting your programs.

Windows 11 isn’t here yet, but will be coming later this year.

I'm sorry for all the trouble

FWIW, we have been having multiple problems with Windows 10 of late. At least two issues stemmed from bugs in updates. Both were contained in a print command update and as long as a PC did not connect to a Zebra printer there was no problem. Unfortunately, we use a lot of Zebra printers for printing bar code labels. The bug pretty much disabled the PCs.

The "fix" from Microsoft---delete the update!

Then a week latter, they sent another auto update that did the same thing

The third was on my Outlook software which is on Microsoft 365. I had a lot of data in the notes section---and it all went missing I was at a loss as to what happened too it and had no luck in finding it. I eventually gave it to our IT guru and eventually he found it (in their cloud) and with some difficulty was able to open it---notes is not a good place to put important data. A fact I found out too late!

Now---the more important thing---how is the healing going?
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty” ---Sir Winston Churchill
"Political extremism involves two prime ingredients: an excessively simple diagnosis of the world's ills, and a conviction that there are identifiable villains back of it all." ---John W. Gardner
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” ---C. S. Lewis
