    Supply shortages

This is getting a little scary. Depending on who or what you read there are any number of theories about why this is happening. I can tell you one thing I went by three of the largest automobile dealers in my area today and they don't have much stock at all. Generators medical supplies Food Supplies chicken supplies you name it. I hope the biden administration in all their wisdom is watching this closely and being proactive.p

The car shortage is computer chips.. when the lockdown hit and car sales spiraled down the manufacturers canceled their pending chip orders.. now sales are back up but there is a long (months) lead time on the new chips..

I bought a used car just before lockdown and now, a year plus later it is worth more than I paid for it..

On edit: Friday at Aldi, tons of chicken but no Fig Newtons! Costco had several pallets of toilet paper out in the main area, in addition to the wall full in the TP department..

The supply chain for construction materials out here (4 state area) is completely broken.

What do you think is assured to occur when the government unleashes trillions of magic printed dollar$ into an economy, much less into one with widespread shortages?

The perceived shortage of ammunition right now is at unprecedented levels...I suppose I'll have to empty my closet except for what I carry on me, become an instant millionaire at the expense of the panic-stricken hordes, then when manufacturing regains it's normal levels and prices go back down to acceptable levels, I'll restock with my obscene profits and retire again......Ben
