After awhile.. they will “fix” Texas..

Years ago a huge housing development was built way out in the burbs where the taxes were very low.. after awhile the residents campaigned for a library.. the elected officials complied , after all.. the voters wanted it.. then they wanted a paid fire department.. and then, and then... in five years the taxes were higher in the new neighborhood than in the closer in burbs...

Actually I think California gets a bad read from Outsiders because of the wacko leaders they have. I have dozens of friends in California and they are great wonderful people. They're not all Democrats and they're not all Republicans but none of them are wackos

Good. Tell 'em to travel straight through Texas and make Alabama their new home.

I would rather have the illegals from South of the border than immigrants from California and the North East U.S.

Lol. We seem to be getting an unusual amount from Indiana and Ohio.

Those are just the corporate types that are fed up with taxes and over regulation. Most of the immigrants are trying to change Texas into California.

I suspect quite a few of the California émigrés are motivated by cashing out of their grossly inflated value housing, not to mention absconding from the repulsive homeless camps, high taxes and waves of wildfires & electric outages. Voting with their feet. Makes sense. It takes years of hard work and planning to chase people out of paradise.

A California Republican would be a Texas Democrat..

I’m not moving.. haven’t found anyplace that is so much better than here and worth moving to..

    Everyplace has pluses and minuses..

Just my opinion, I could be wrong..

Thank god for the heat of the summers around here or this place would be over run. My 'hood backs up to a natural preserve so no development can occur but the rest of the city is exploding vertically...

Gas has jumped .42 cents a gallon over night here. Stations are very busy. Hopefully this will resolve. If not maybe the President will give us some relief out of the National reserves.

I believe the national reserve is crude oil. The pipeline in question ships refined products.

Don’t you get a POTUS merit badge for shutting down a pipeline? Or is that only for crude oil?

I am somewhat surprised , nay even SHOCKED that there is such an up roar over a PIPELINE being closed down .

I agree with Curt , the perp will most likely get a medal from biden . Now he can force hundreds of more tanker trucks to be used and thus create more jobs he will take credit for.

A WIN WIN for the White House.

Interesting - apparently, the White House is behind this one?
