Power Stroke Diesel Trucks ---- Yeah

Utah's and others comments about Mike starting this whole thing got me reminiscing to myself.

Wonder how many of us still have a Power Stroke Diesel ?

I still have my 2002 Excursion, it has 76,000 miles on it now and probably is worth more now than when I bought it. In any case Its not going anywhere soon, I love that truck

Who else still has a Power Stroke ?

Guess I'm lucky, all I've done is a few oil/filter changes and an alternator.

My buddy and mechanic told me to git rid of mine. I did such a good job in maintenance that all the expensive stuff that should have broken earlier were about too... 285000 miles. I traded it in for a 2017 F150 with the 3.5L eco boost and Max Tow package. Towed a 30' travel trailer with it last week and was extremely impressed.

It's a 3 year truck and then I'll probably go back to an F250... The 150 is too much like a car that can tow.

It's my workhorse (pun intended) 2011 with the 6.7 L Diesel. Nothing like pulling the high passes through the Rockies on I80 at the speed limit in the set up in the photo

I still have my 1999.5 F-250, super cab, LWB at just under 200,000 miles. It had a frame off restoration a couple years ago---it is mostly a barn queen now

I also still have my 2007 F-350 crew cab LWB and that is about 150,000 miles and is on "loan" to one of my sons.

Added in edit: The F-250 has been as far north as one can drive in both the US and Canada, as far west as one can drive in both the US and Canada, as far east as one can drive, again in both and finally as far south in both.

I have to confess---for the most eastern point in Canada I did need to enlist the aid of a ferry to help on that one

I have the F350 to tow my 41' fifth wheel RV. Otherwise, I would probably have one of those luxury F150s.

The members here are causing me to miss my PSD Excursion. It really was an excellent vehicle and I enjoyed owning it. But, as usual, I got bored and wanted something different.

Sold my 2000 in about 2008 at 240,000, my 2001 excursion at 110,000 in 2011, my 2006 in 2012 at 185,000 and am currently running a 2017, and it has 50,000 miles, nearly all highway and towing miles. It is amazing. Between 2012 and 2017, I was droving my Roush Raptor at 590 HP, or my Jeep Wrangler, both of which i still have. I mostly daily my wrangler, though the Raptor is the most fun to drive.
