Anyone else kinda scratch their noggin on this one?

For those who missed it, Biden said at his news conference that the latest Georgia voting law makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle. I did a "Eh? Who the hell is Jim Eagle?" but passed it off as Biden's normal inability to speak English at times.

Turns out he was making a play on the word "crow", a humble bird, and comparing it to an eagle, a noble bird. The law was being derided as being so bad, it made Jim Crow look noble.

So mystery solved. But I ruefully took note of my initial reaction blaming Biden's bizarre speech patterns. It says something when you automatically assume the President of the United States stuck his foot in his mouth when something like this comes up. Like he has done so often.
