I understand the sadness of this--even revulsion. But this is more of a anomilay than you might be lead to think. For every event like this, there are more "good samaritan" stories that fail to make the "sensational newtainment" outlets.
Let there be no mistake---I am as dismayed by this happening as anyone---but I also put it into context of a much larger picture.
