    You'll be surprised to learn that he lived so I'm assuming he had enough Vodka in him to mess up his pack job and cause a pilot chute in tow situation..... Anything can bite you.

    I had a friend die when he traveled to a boogie in Mexico. He had a malfunction and went in without pulling his reserve. During the accident investigation they found his reserve handle zip tied to the container. People do that when traveling to keep TSA morons from pulling the reserve while inspecting the rig (our AAD's have a small charge in them that fires to cut the reserve pin) and he forgot to remove the zip tie.
