    Another welcome to the future...wire connectors

    Ok, it seems like almost everyday that I am introduced to a new and fascinating product from the future.

    I saw these and had to try them. All I’ve done so far is play with it, but you cant pull them apart. This could change my level of interest in fighting 50+ year old wiring.

    I just sent an email to our maintenance manager---splicing wires on CNCs, with huge wiring harnesses is something we do often---these seem impressive.

    For ten bucks I'll give it a try...I'll use heat shrink tubing over it anyway just because that's the way I am......Ben

    I've never used a wire nut in my life...I've replaced a lot of them though with butt connectors, solder and heat shrink tubing......Ben

    I was a teen working in a machine shop as an Inspector when CNCs arrived. It was impressive.
