House Minority Leader McCarthy has introduced a motion to remove Swalwell from the House Intelligence (an oxymoron if there ever was one) because Swalwell was involved with a bona fide agent of the Chinese government.
1) Hypocritical move. Jared Kushner never could get a security clearance. Trump overrode the recommendation and Kushner saw everything Trump saw. McCarthy never said boo.
2) Timing is suspect. It looks very much like a tit for tat over Marjorie Taylor Greene.
3) He ain't wrong. Whatever McCarthy's motivations or hypocrisy, Swalwell should not be on the Intelligence Committee. If he is so incautious as to bed a Chinese agent, he cannot be trusted. Find a place for him on the Federal Pothole Committee.
