    I'm "released"

...with the pending return to my NYC office only days away (March 1) I committed this week to myself to complete the annual task of doing the preparation work for my accountants to do the taxes.

Three and a half days later--- I'm done! Everything is computerized and so it isn't nearly as bad as it was with handwritten ledgers but it still is a pain to make sure all accounts agree with each other.

Now I feel like a nap

Here, being released means the Bishop tells you The Church no longer needs your service.

    Yours sounds more accomplished, Dave.
