    Trump Acquitted

Now that this is finally over, maybe we can get back to a somewhat normal government. May the name "Trump" be forever banned by our government and the news media. It is time to move on and heal.

That is a nice thought but trump isn't going away as long as he sucking air.
I am happy that my Senator voted guilty.

I agree, Mike. But, I don't think it's over for Trump. We shall see some criminal cases proceed now that the insulating White House buffer is out of the way.

I think you nailed it saying we need to move on and heal.

I think he's pretty much been banned from public office. Bad cess to him. His troubles are far from over. Now comes the criminal complaints and possible bankruptcy for the umpteenth time. I've also read that Vornado Realty is a partner with Trump on two of Trump's most lucrative properties. Last year, Trump was so toxic that Vornado, which was trying to refinance the properties, found no takers. So, they may buy him out, cutting off a revenue stream that will be very hard to replace.

This is just the beginning of the world of hurt Trump has brought onto himself. I'm not too concerned about him. Maybe those he fooled won't fall for the Trumpkins-in-Waiting. Maybe conservative talk radio will stop serving up grievance and victimhood to listeners.

Maybe the Pope will convert to Buddhism and get a bachelor pad with the Dalai Lama.

    Hope it’s over..

Should have started when he was still in office.. we can’t start a tradition of attacking the loser.. Pence should have been president for a day..

The Trumpsters are already attacking the GOP Senators who voted to convict.. calling them childish names..

    It’s not over.. unfortunately

It's not over Using Trump's name to the color of the entire Republican party as illegitimate is going to last until the next election or longer. It's the easy way out for the Democrats. They would rather bash Trump than do something substantive to make this country pull together and get better.

I had forgotten about Georgia. I suspect to see a criminal charge come from his shenanigans there and rightfully so. This is a case I can hang my hat on, I hope to see him convicted.

Not the entire Republican Party. Just his followers and apologists. There are fewer of them today than there were last week.

I don't think, though, that the Party that nominated him twice for President and just gave him a pass on his behavior is going to be able to claim "we didn't do it". That's what happens when you make a pact with the Devil. Sometimes, people get burned.

I don't care what they do with him. I just want him gone from politics. He has already cost the Republicans one election that should have been a landslide in any other year I don't want him to cause another loss. Bye bye Trump. Go buy an island.

Didn't he try to buy Iceland? That's a good spot for him. Lots of cod so he can go peddle his fish.

St. Helena is all set up for VIPs. Send him there.

Second choice - Skull Island. I give the natives three days tops before they call in Kong.
