And---yes--it was a form of greed that got me---an offer too good to be true
I could construct a defense to mitigate my lapse of good sense---but at the end of the day--I did it.
I saw something on the web about a bottle of CBD oil at an amazingly low "introductory" price of $4.97!
Forgetting about it until a few days latter when I saw the charge show up from an unknown vendor (Snapbodypro) I looked them up---and found out I have been had by what appears to be a successful ongoing scam. Their MO is to wait a few days and then put through a bigger charge on your card information---so I was on the watch for it to show up again.
What showed up today was an alert from Chase with what they suspected was a bogus charge from Snapbodypro--this time for $89 and change. So---I'm out $4.97 (not worth going after) and a cheap lesson in not being stupid
..at least I am not alone.![]()
