The dead
I just read an obituary of sorts in this morning's WSJ. It lists all five who died. Only officer Sicknick was not part of the mob.
The dead, all were deeply tied to trump, driven by his lies and their own promotion of those lies. Combine that with what we have seen since ---including the rage showered on lindsey grahman at the airport and it is obvious this is not going to go away easily---I believe this event is more of a beginning than an end.
If trump had one shred of decency in him, he would immediately admit, and continue to admit, the lies of his election claims---but I'm not sure even that would calm this beast that he has released on the our Country.
Absent of such an unlikely reversal, the media needs to take the spot light off trump---he is irrelevant at his point---treat him as such--ignore him and allow him to stew in his own insanity.
We made a mistake---let us move on.
