If I were to blindly believe that "story" I would find it very interesting--and informative. However, as we all know and have been told over and over, the NYT is filled with nothing but bias and lies--made-up stuff---fake news if you will I'm certain, with time, we will learn that the NYT has a sinister and covert plan to force the banning of not only rubber tires but all things round
But, on a positive note I did learn a new word today:
From the article: "quinones" are a class of organic compounds that are formally "derived from aromatic compounds [such as benzene or naphthalene] by conversion of an even number of –CH= groups into –C(=O)– groups with any necessary rearrangement of double bonds", resulting in "a fully conjugated cyclic dione structure".
And, I have to add that Billy got my attention with his use of "acumen" (the ability to make good judgments and quick decisions, typically in a particular domain).
As a post script: I love the fact, that almost on a daily basis, the NYT, and the WSJ both challenge my vocabulary---and reading online allows me to simply highlight those words and go directly to their definitions If I were reading the printed versions I would tend to gloss over those words and not learn them.
