Robert Richard Lynn, 67, of Center Street, stands accused with using a typewriter to complete the absentee ballot application and signed the name of Marie P. Hannigan, according to court records.

That was very considerate of Mr Lynn but Ms Hannigan (his late mother)died five years ago

Mr. Lynn's rues failed to yield a ballot which could have become the foundation of a vote---but as soon as the application reached the voting authorities it was identified as fraudulent and they in turn called the police.

Lynn was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Malloy in Wilkes-Barre on charges of forgery and interference of an election. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

The county election bureau discovered the alleged crime and reported it to authorities, officials say.

Lynn is a registered Republican, state election records show.

Could it be that rudy was musing about this case when he reported millions of fraudulent votes---or is it more likely rudy is simply dillusional

A federal appeals court in Philadelphia on Friday rejected President Trump's latest bid to challenge the 2020 election results, adding another loss to a string of more than two dozen defeats that has crippled the president's campaign.

However, if Trump appeals the ruling, the case could go to the U.S. Supreme Court - something his attorneys Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani appeared to welcome.

"The activist judicial machinery in Pennsylvania continues to cover up the allegations of massive fraud. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to present proof and the facts to the PA state legislature. On to SCOTUS!" Ellis tweeted.

The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the president's attorneys were unable to come up with any credible evidence pointing to election fraud and said the campaign's "claims have no merit."

"Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy," Judge Stephanos Bibas, a Trump appointee, wrote for the three-judge panel. "Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here."

As I read the daily accounts of Trumps frivolous lawsuits being shot down, I am reminded of a lecture I got from a fancy lawyer once.

This was in the context of construction claim litigation. To paraphrase: "Whatever you do, never include lies, deception, outrageous claims, or insults in your documentation. That's what you hire lawyers to do."

I hope that is tongue and cheek because it was anything but willy-nilly. I have described it here a few times, I was impressed at how well it was done, and my ability to track my ballot.

The only rub was a restriction that prevented any early recording of votes. They could not begin opening ballots until Tuesday.
