    End-of-year report...

I made my quarterly stop at the precious metal depository today for conversion of collected material to paper assets...here are the raw figures year to date:

    Total steps taken 2,106,275...
    Total mileage walked: 1046...
Total weight of cans: 943 pounds...
Other items: Tailgate, ladders, awning frames, jumper cables, wheels, etc...Weight unknown...
Gross income: $362.00 (includes other items dragged out of the ditch and hauled away)...

Next quarterly report due in February...

The funds have been duly reinvested in my other precious metal industry being collected at various gun shows......Ben

    Thanks for your service.

What kind of tools did you find? I find all kinds of stuff. I will give you whiplash if I see a socket on the side of the road.

Other than a hacksaw frame and screwdrivers used as paint stirrers, I don't remember any tools...In actual cash I found two 20's, a $2 bill and a one plus some loose change...That mysterious briefcase full of c-notes still eludes me though......Ben

Here at home we are sorta in the "oil patch". Those guys leave a lot of stuff on their toolboxes and bumpers. My favorite was a 24" aluminum pipe wrench.

The road to the cabin is a 50 mile washboard gravel road with campgrounds and fishin at the end. I have found everything from vice grips to tailgates on that one. Lots of fishing tools and rv parts.

I once found a set of saddle bags and an atv luggage thingy.

I LOVE finding stuff on the road. My wife says it's unnatural.
