    I'm proud

Unofficially, the media (the WSJ, NYT, et al) now is willing to say that Biden has won and PA is the one who put him over the top in the Electoral College. Thank you PA!

I know that many of our friends here and everywhere do not share in my relief and even joy. If we have learned anything, in the past four years, I hope that we (all) can see the value in character, in honesty, in empathy, in compassion, simply in humanism. Ultimately, the COVID-19 shared in being fatal to trump, but that too is an issue of character.

May we heal as a group and as a country and all of us approach tomorrow with a renewed optimism

We still have two months before he gets sworn [at ] in . I'm willing to give him some slack for a bit but , at the first grab for guns or open boarders and I'm afraid I will have to hate him as much as you seam to hate Trump.

We put up with every other President and are still here. I just hope that trend continues .

don't believe that obama considered putting a person who dreams of running over children with his car in a position to try to do it. obama only wanted more guns to go to Mexicao so they could be used against our boarder patrol.

Like the Indian law, if you save someone, you are responsible for what they then do. You Sino-Joe supporters are now responsible for what he and The Cackler do. I be calling you on it.

PA specific stuff from the number of the day. Seems pretty reasonable.

Welcome to the Number of the Day
    November 24, 2020
Eighty-three percent (83%) of Pennsylvania voters say it's important to reform Pennsylvania’s voting laws before the next election. A PoliticalIQ survey found that just 11% disagree.[1]

Those totals include 63% who say election law reform is "Very Important" and only 3% who say it is "Not at All Important."[1]

There's also strong support for many specific reforms:

88% agree that, prior to the election, government agencies should clean the voter registration files and remove the names of all who have moved or died.
75% strongly approve of requiring all mail-in ballots to be received by Election Day.
68% think government agencies should be required to report the vote totals from all ballots on Election Night.
88% believe both Republican and Democratic party officials should be allowed in the room for every step of the ballot collection and ballot counting procedures.
75% say all voters who cast their ballot in person should be required to show a photo ID before voting.
For those who mail in their ballot, 58% believe they should be required to include a copy of their photo ID.
56% want ballot harvesting to be outlawed.[1]
Additionally, 69% want mail-in ballots sent only to those who request them. Twenty-seven percent (27%) believe they should be sent to all voters.[1]

To bad that "Political IQ" doesn't have a very high IQ

Many of those polling questions are nonsensical---they don't apply since they are mandated by existing law.

Regarding the receipt of mail-in ballots, the extension for receipt (but not post mark) was caused by the refusal of the Post Office to commit to delivery times---something they fully lived up to
