    Might we be the exception

I was on a Zoom meeting last night from 6 to 9:30 and missed the "show".

For any others that might have missed it, I have read that the TV networks actually cut away from trump's embarrassment before it was over.

As a peak, if you are like me and missed it: (and yes this is from the NYT---but substantially the same as the WSJ)

"This is a case where they’re trying to steal an election,” he said.

“They’re trying to rig an election, and we can’t let that happen.”

He convinced few people who were not already in his corner. Most of the television networks cut away from the statement on the grounds that what Mr. Trump was saying was not true. On CNN, former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, a Republican often put in the position of defending Mr. Trump over the years, appeared exasperated as he denounced the president’s loose talk of election thievery as “dangerous” and “shocking” and declared that “counting absentee ballots and counting mail-in ballots is not fraud.”

The New York Post, which published salacious articles on Hunter Biden planted by Mr. Trump’s associates before the election, headlined an article: “Downcast Trump Makes Baseless Election Fraud Claims in White House Address.” Even Fox News noted it had seen no “hard evidence” of widespread wrongdoing.

“There is no defense for the President’s comments tonight undermining our Democratic process,” Gov. Larry Hogan, Republican of Maryland and a critic of the president, wrote on Twitter. “America is counting the votes, and we must respect the results as we always have before. No election or person is more important than our Democracy.”
It would be nice if we here respected the process and didn't help propagate lies.

Hold on here...we have a long history of election fraud. I imagine there is even a post or two from you claiming illegitimate results. Now everything is cool? You need to hear what you are saying........

Find it---without proof you are doing the same thing and I will tell you right now you will not find what you are after----but have a nice day looking.

My head is spinning.. the post-election drama is amazing..

The process of continuing vote counting is something that we (as a nation) have done for decades.. the military vote Tricked in for days.. but now, with a lot of the country locked down and the senior citizens poll volunteers afraid to work a public event, the absentee ballot numbers have sky rockets..

A group of neighbors were all poll volunteers (until the pandemic).. I can’t image theses people violating the sacred trust as election workers.. additionally, there are security and accounting safeguards in place that would make voting fraud almost impossible.. and if possible, only at a one at a time ..

We as a nation need to step back.. watch closely and wait as the process unfolds.. count every vote.. and together line up behind the winner..

I was just reviewing the results for my home county (Montgomery) in PA and I was very pleasantly surprised by something I saw, voter turn out was 83%

This is not unlike what I have been reading about this election nationwide. I know the numbers of voters has exceeded any previous election but I'm thinking even more important is the percentage----good for us America

I wish I had a nickle for every time you said that on these boards.

I'm not quite with you at the contempt stage. I'm still stuck on mistrust.

You can't do much with a nickel---even if I just gave it to you---go find the proof, if as you say, I said this so many times that should be easy.

It's ok. Dave knows that my snarcasm is only exceeded by my laziness. He also knows there's at least a grain of truth in what I said.

While I have no vested interest in either I'd be most interested in seeing your proof Joe.

Just a small taste of Philly politics, but then you always have to remember there are people who believe OJ is innocent.

As I catch up on what I missed last I see you took that claim directly from the liar in chief.
    Really Joe
