    He could make a bad movie watchable. A true star.

    I remember being a freshman in college walking downtown to the Waco Theater by myself in 1962 to the opening of Dr. No, which had not been heavily promoted, so when I watched, it was an unexpected Wow Moment. I, like the world, became a big Connery fan and a “Bond...James Bond” fan. Of course Ursula Andress did not hurt matters! Hard to believe that was almost 60 years ago.
