Well this last one got me

And not on the Beach at Home! Hurricane Zeta, which was a powerful TS when it passed over me laid down numerous trees and destroyed some other property items. My electricity is supplied by a local Co-Op and they do a real good job but with 17k out of 18500 total customers it's going to take some time. Hope the generator holds up.

When they run out of names and Greek letters for hurricanes, does that mean they're done for the year?......Ben

They go to the Greek alphabet after our alphabet is exhausted.

    I did a Google :

"There are also no “U,” “X,” “Y,” or “Z” names for the same reason. Remember, if storms are strong enough to create enough damage, those names are retired. Because there are not enough names starting with the aforementioned letters to retire, they are not on the list."

Only another month to go before the season is supposed to be over.

    Stay safe Tom.

You didn't search in the right place Bo

You need to expand your horizons sir, We have a friend who taught in the Philadelphia school system and at the beginning of each year we would be entertained with new "entries" in the world of names. The most memorable: twin girls named Lemonjello and Orangejello and a boy named Chithead (spelled with an "S")---at which she felt panic coming on when she saw that on the attendance sheet---she had the presence of mind to call out Mr and his last name and then ask him how to pronounce his first name---Shateed Apparently his Mother wasn't any better at spelling than I am.
