    Remember When The NYT’s Published & Promoted “Anonymous”

    ...as this great “high senior-ranking Administration official” positioned to reveal the secrets of a dysfunctional administration that he/she was working in deep resistance to thwart? Endless speculation was set off and promoted of which department head, top advisor or even family member was “Anonymous” perched in the Oval Office telling the deep, dark secrets of incompetence. Well, it turns out at the time that the promotion was all lies. Anonymous was and is some low level nothing with next to no access to anything. It came out yesterday, and you never heard of the creature.

    A good thing about this disclosure is that the next time the New York Times hawks one or more of their anonymous sources as being “highly placed” or “well-sourced” and any number of magnifiers to lend unwarranted credence to the words they publish, everyone can look back at this episode and know there is every reason to take the puffery with a grain of salt.

    The “Paper Of Record” has once again been exposed as the Paper Of BS.

    A large number of people in the past had erroneously focused on one Administration member as being Anonymous. The person, Victoria Coates, was eventually moved to another job, whether the move was as a result of suspicions is not known, but there is no doubt that the New York Times knew those suspicions were meritless, but allowed her and her reputation to twist slowly in the winds without putting a stop to it. What scumbags!

    To further amplify the ignominy of the NYTs’ “Anonymous” tale, it has now been revealed that Miles Taylor, the mid-level bureaucrat who wrote the piece was an active cog in the process that produce the Administrations’ child separation policy so anathema to the NYTs and the Left —
