It's about to hit the fan in Louisville

AG Cameron is going to make his announcement at 2PM tomorrow. No way they are going to charge the officers in the Breonna Taylor case. What are they going to charge them with, doing their job or getting shot? LMPD has already declared a state of emergency and has cancelled all days off. We are currently in an apartment waiting on our new house being built, so although I have several pistols here, I will be going to my Brother-In-Laws to make a withdraw from my gun safe this evening. (Safe is at his house for safe keeping) I figure if people are going to commit adult sized felonies, they deserve to be shot with adult sized guns. Gonna get dicey around here..... downtown already looks like a war zone, so we'll see how it goes. All this over a drug dealer who shot at cops.

I'd like to read in the morning that the police allowed to do their job put an instant stop to all the violence and destruction. I'd rather read that all went home and trusted in the system but that will never happen.

A man wearing a Breonna Taylor t-shirt got an early start on the festivities a couple of nights ago in Louisville, when he walked up to an outside patio of a bar/restaurant there owned and operated by an ex-police officer and casually shot to death three men in what is described as a “random shooting.” He was apprehended shortly thereafter slithering through brush with a big smile on his face.

The perp is black and the murdered men were 2 white men and 1 black man, which must always be reported, of course because that is the salient fact of the incident. The crime is going unreported by the MSM.

Actually, that's what is being reported, though I'm not sure why, but the owner is not an ex-cop. He just supports law enforcement. I have spent many Sundays in that place watching football. It's just down the street from where I used to live.

No indictments in the death of Breonna Taylor. One officer indicted for Wanton Endangerment for shooting into an adjacent apartment.

I'm not up on the facts of the case, so why do you say the boyfriend was a drug dealer?

One fact with which I am familiar is that the three Leo's shot at close range a couple of dozen shots and did not hit the guy who opened fire and shot one of them across the room, but hit the deceased 6 times. That is damned poor aim.

Due to the Breonna Taylor decision we are anticipating civil unrest in the community. We ask that BLS providers do the following:

      • All managers should continue to be available by cell phone.
      • Assure all crews have charged portable radios (County-programmed EBRCSA radio) and can locate EB Call and CMED channels.
      • Have on duty Supervisors monitor East Bay Call for requests for service.
      • Deploy crews with appropriate safety equipment including helmets if you have them.
      • Tell crews to avoid high risk areas and stay away from established perimeters.
      • If you receive a request for service that will take your crew into a high risk area and you clear your units to enter the area, the crew should switch their radio to the CMED channel so if they need assistance they can quickly make that request.

If a crew is pulled into the 911 system and they transport a patient, that transport may be billed at 9-1-1 rates.

    Call me with questions.

    Thank you.

2 boyfriends in the case. The "Ex" boyfriend (Glover) is a convicted drug dealer. The "current" boyfriend (Walker) has no convictions. Jailhouse phone recordings show that Taylor was having packages delivered to her house for her ex (the convicted dealer) and he was using her address. He is also captured telling another person that Taylor was acting as his "bank" and handling his money, having 12 grand of his. And, he said she was doing this for others as well. The "ex" came and went from the house many times (why would the current put up with this if it wasn't a drug thing?) LMPD Narcotics secured no-knock search warrants for several places to hit, and the three officers were just called in for extra manpower, it was not their case. During the pre-raid briefing, they were told that Glover had already been picked up, and Taylor was supposedly alone in the house, so they changed it to serve it as a knock and announce. They arrived, knocked on the door for several minutes, with at least one neighbor confirming they announced "Police Dept". Taylor and Walker both were hollering "Who is it" but would not open the door. When they breached the door, Det. Mattingly entered the apartment and saw Taylor and Walker standing in the hall at which point Walker shot him. Mattingly was hit in the femoral artery, slicing it open (almost bled to death) , fell to the ground and returned fire. Det. Cosgrove also fired from the front door area. Cosgrove's bullet killed Taylor.
Det. Hankison fired into the apartment from outside, through a window, and was indicted for Wanton Endangerment for his bullets entering another apartment occupied by 3 people. As to why Taylor was hit and Walker wasn't, Mattingly was shooting from the ground after being hit. Not sure of Cosgrove's exact position, but I would have to assume Walker hid behind Taylor. And I don't buy the fact that he was living with Taylor, while her ex drug dealing boyfriend was coming and going from the house, she was holding his money and accepting packages, and he didn't know about it.

Walker was charged for shooting Mattingly, but charges were dropped due to the stand your ground and Castle Doctrine laws in Kentucky. While this was a cluster, the civil case has been settled and Taylor's family received 12 million from the Mayor. They have also banned "No knock" warrants here now. But bottom line, Mattingly and Cosgrove broke no laws, the shot back after being fired upon

Jeez, I wonder why the allegations of Saint Breonna being the drug dealing go-between has not been covered by the press, at least to the extent this news junky has seen.

On edit: one article that confirms the above sequence of events leading to the raid and confrontation. We have been told it was a "no knock" sudden entrustion by police and the innocent of all things, Breonna, was in bed when shot. Not correct it seems.

And the fact that Walker basically used her as a shield. The civil suit was settled prior to the GJ decision, and that Civil Suit basically sealed all documents.... with the agreement of Taylor's family. What's that tell you? She was going to be found out. As for the news, well those facts don't fit the narrative.... just like they keep saying she was an EMT, when in actuality she was fired from that position 3 years ago for stealing drugs.

Not that I am about to get enmeshed with this story but you just might want to do a fact check on some of the things you are claiming.

Claim: Taylor works as an EMT
On May 11, Crump, who has represented several high-profile clients around the country in police shootings, issued a news release saying he was joining the case of an "EMT killed in a bungled police raid."

Several local and national media outlets, including The Courier Journal, also have reported that Taylor was an emergency medical technician.

    Our rating: Partially true
Taylor joined the city as an EMT recruit in January 2016, became a full EMT by June and left the Metro Government in November 2016.

Local attorneys for Taylor's family have clarified that she was working as an ER technician at two area hospitals at the time of her March 13 death, with aspirations of becoming a nurse.
That said---what the hell difference does it make. If she was fired does that make it OK that she is now dead?

This article answers a lot of my questions

The article is not from the NYT.. nor is it from a guy in his mom’s basement dot com.. hope the source is acceptable..
