Went in this weekend for a coughing/back pain. So after a while they determine it's pneumonia. But since a covid test can still take up to 3 day to get results back, they sent me into the ICU/Covid ward on Sat.
Until they an all clear on covid they treat you like you have it. Full gown and mask and face shield everytime they came in. Strip it off and put it the disposals.

But at least they started antibiotics for the pneumonia.

Onto the ward. First thing you notice is that you can't hear a thing since there a fan mark 2000 pulling air out of the room. If you wanted to watch tv a 100 you could barely hear. Nice about a one car garage suite with a open bath in the corner.
Outside the door was a couple of corrections officers, DOJ and Border Patrol guys that were there for any inmates getting treated. Seems they were tasked to enter their patient room with the nurse and stay while any treatment was going on.

Started to feel better Sunday about mid morning. Nurse came in and said no covid. So they didn't have to dress up just mask up to be in the room. A while later Dr comes in turn off the fan and says I can go home or stay another day. I said home sounds better. So here I am taking the meds.

Nurse mention that they only had on Covid patient in the ward at this time, but when it started they were full up and removing ICU patients to recovery rooms.

Did find it amazing that anything that came in was tossed in the trash. Even the trays were cardboard.
