Say We Get A Good Vaccine

If efficacious vaccines are produced for our public, I think it is a good bet that many people will take it and many people will refuse leaving a mixed bag of people theoretically immune to COVID-19 for some unknown period of time. Add to that people who have had the disease and recovered theoretically building antibodies also making them immune and incapable of transmitting the disease as well.

Question: will those people thus unable of transmitting the disease be exempt from the mandatory edicts of wearing the face diapers/distancing and how would we verifiably know who qualifies? Or, like now for people who have recovered, would everyone still have to wear the damned things?

I would say no exemptions because enforcement would then be effectively nullified.

You will know who qualifies by the tattoo on the back of their wrist......

With Flu season approaching I'm willing to wear a mask as needed.

easy, the stupid non mask non vaccinated will get sick and die. Anyone left standing after a few years will be ok to not wear a mask.

You get used to it. I have worn one for the past 20 years on the job it's no big deal

If you get the vaccine, does that mean you can't spread it???

People can get the flu shot but if they suck at sanitary practices they can still spread the flu with dirty hands....

I miss the days when I could hug or shake hands with people outside my bubble.. I ran into a friend I have not seen in 6 years the other day and he balked at my out stretched hand looking for a shake. I will never stop offering it to those that will still shake it.

There are lots of government imposed rules. At what point does it become fascist? Surely not because of requiring a mask in public during a public health crisis.

Yep, don't try to make sense of this whole thing. I, like you will still stretch my hand out to meet a friend and will continue too. I won't suck on my fingers or stick them in my eyes afterwards but I never did anyway.

The flu is a primarily a contact spreader surface to hand to face and into the body . Corona Virus is airborne it attacks via receptors that are predominantly in the nose. That is why mask wearing is the most effective means of prevention it keeps the virus at the original host and the nearby folks that wear masks reduce the chance of any airborne particles hitting them in any kind of concentration

Making people that cannot infect anyone with their breath, as described above, wear a mask because it makes others erroneously think they are safer is stupid and officious. It already is for those who have recovered from it. Admittedly, we need better information about how long the immunity will last before they can become a vector again, if they can.

I'm still thinking that once the elections are over the whole thing will settle itself. I can't get the thought out of my head that the whole thing has been a political game from the start.

    ^^^

Read this one, mgrist, and feed your suspicions —

A Democrat bureaucrat finally said what we all have known to be the truth: The Wuhan virus limitations that Democrat politicians and bureaucrats have imposed on Americans will go away after the election because that was the plan all along.

...Los Angeles County is America’s most populous county, the largest government entity in America that is not a state or the federal government, and the third-largest metropolitan economy in the world. It’s also entirely Democrat-run, as evidenced by poverty, drugs, and homelessness, as well as its vast wealth inequality.

Los Angeles students still cannot go to school but must, instead, do online learning. We already know that part of the problem is that the teachers’ union had some pretty stringent demands, few related to the students’ physical and mental well-being.

However, it turns out the continued school closures are also because of politics. We know this because LA County’s Public Health Director, Barbara Ferrer, admitted as much when speaking to a gathering of school nurses and other school administrators:

”So we don’t realistically anticipate we will be moving to tier 2 or to reopening K-12 schools at least until after the election, after, you know, in early November. When we just look at the timing of everything it seems to us the more realistic approach to this would be to think that we’re going to be where we are now until we get, until after we are done with the election.”

There is no scientific connection between the election and the Wuhan virus. There is, however, a cynical connection between the lockdown and the election. The Democrats know that, and Ferrer finally said it out loud. If you’ve suffered from the lockdown, be sure to remember that the Democrats did it on purpose.
